YESZone - Young Entrepreneur Spirit Zone Rules
The 2012 YESZone (Youth Entrepreneur Spirit Zone) held at the 11th Apopka Fair will be limited to 20 booths. Ages 6-18 can apply for consideration. Applications will be reviewed and accepted based on certain criteria. Submission date, viability of business idea, completeness and uniqueness (we will not have 5 Silly Band stands). Before beginning the application form, please read the important information listed below. Once you have entirely completed the application form, press "Apply Now", and you will receive an automatic email to the email address listed.

- This year’s event is open to children between the ages of 6 – 18, whose applications have been accepted
- No more than 4 participants per booth (business idea)
- Participating children listed on the application will receive a YESZone T-shirt for participating
- Awards and certificates will be awarded to participants
- Please submit one application for each business. Children planning on working as a group may submit one application with all children’s info. If children of different age groups prepare a booth together, they will be judged in the age group of the oldest participant.
- If accepted to have a booth in the YESZone, a $10 booth fee will be collected on the day of the event.
- Electricity is not provided.
- No food products can be sold due to insurance requirements.
- Parents of younger children may sit in their booth, but the children are to be responsible for sales and interacting with the customers. This event is designed to give children a taste of selling a product, please let them have that experience.
- Please note that you may help your child fill out the booth application, but depending on their age, they are expected to do as much as possible by themselves.
- The $10.00 entry fee for each booth shall be paid upon admittance to the fair. This fee MUST have been earned through the child’s business OR borrowed from an investor (parent/assisting adult) with the expectation that it will be repaid in a timely manner.

Please note that each business may have from 1 to 4 participants. Each child involved in the booth must be listed on the application.
